Nursing Home

MINISTRY

Jesus’ compassion toward those who were “distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd” (Matt. 9:36), HEC is determined to find similarly downcast people in our community. We serve so that we might serve them and tell them about Christ.

We visit once a month to minister the love of Christ through our service, sharing the Word of God, singing, mime dance, foot washing, games and so much more. Lives of the residents, the staff and family members, have been changed for the Glory of God.

We believe in honoring leaders in our society, especially, our Civil Leaders. We intentionally serve them and seek to build relationships with the community and them.

Submission to Governing Authorities

according to Romans 13:1-7

The passage above teaches that all governing authorities are established by God, and therefore, believers should submit to them. Resisting lawful authority is equated with resisting God's order, which brings judgment. Government is described as God’s servant for justice—to punish wrongdoers and commend those who do right. Paul also urges believers to pay taxes and show respect and honor to those in authority, because doing so aligns with a God-honoring life of peace and order.
