WHAT WE BELIEVE
Heights Empowerment Center Heights Empowerment Center was birthed from the powerful, real-life testimonies of its founders, Robert and Marletta—two people who were rescued, redeemed, and restored by the relentless love of God. Both came from broken, dysfunctional homes and encountered the darkness of addiction, violence, incarceration, and trauma. Yet, through personal encounters with Jesus Christ, they were transformed from the inside out.
OUR FIVE CORE VALUES
1) BELIEVE
Faith in God as the foundation of life. Trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, accepting God’s Word as truth, and relying on His promises for salvation and daily living (Hebrews 11:6).
2) BELONG
Fellowship and unity in God’s family. Emphasizing the importance of community, accountability, and love within the Body of Christ, where every believer has a place (Ephesians 2:19-22).
3) BECOME
Transformation into Christlikeness. Committing to spiritual growth, discipleship, and aligning one’s life with God’s purposes as we are conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 12:2).
5) Bold
Living courageously for Christ. Proclaiming the gospel fearlessly, standing firm in faith, and walking confidently in God’s power and purpose (2 Timothy 1:7).
4) BUILD
Investing in God’s kingdom. Actively serving, encouraging others, and using gifts and talents to build up the Church and advance the gospel (1 Corinthians 3:10-14).

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
THE BIBLE
We Believe in the holy scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
DEITY OF CHRIST
We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
TRINITY
We Believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
SALVATION
We Believe in the salvation of the lost through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
WATER BAPTISM
We Believe in the full immersion of water baptism.
HOLY SPIRIT
We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We Believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit being in operation.
